History
Paslode was founded in the USA in 1935 and by 1940
had developed the ‘Stapling Hammer’ a faster
way of driving staples in a variety of applications.
In 1959 Paslode introduced the world’s first
pneumatic tool – a light duty tacker which increased
the speed of fastening applications in the furniture
industry. Four years later the world’s first commercially
accepted pneumatic nailer, providing increased speed
and ease for the construction industry, created higher
productivity and reduced worker fatigue.
Over the next few decades this technology was developed
further until in 1986 Impulse, the world’s first
cordless gas powered nailer, was patented.
Since then other manufacturers have tried to emulate
Paslode’s cordless gas technology but to this
day Impulse still remains the market leader.
Today
Over the last 18 years the Paslode range of tools have
literally revolutionised the way in which many building
trades work on site. Instead of laborious and time consuming
drilling & fixing, Impulse cordless nailers allow
builders, dryliners, carpenters, joiners, roofers and
many more to fix quickly and efficiently. In fact the
tools are so versatile that they have become a standard
on almost every building site in the UK. |
