Hit the deck

Simon Rance and David Lattimore of ITW Construction Products were caught on camera in March putting the Paslode Impulse IM 350 CT through its paces for a Jewson promotional video.

The tool's unique no-mark work contact element is designed to provide a market-beating professional finish when working with the anti-slip ridges of decking.

"The no-mar contact element ensures a perfect professional finish for speed-fixing outdoor decking, without inflicting any unsightly marks or scores on the timbers," said the Distributor Account Sales Manager of ITW Construction Products, Simon Rance. "No other power tool offers this advantage to meet the ever-increasing demand for decking work."

The IM350 CT was tested to be three times quicker than a conventional hammer, thanks to its fast set-up gas-cartridge technology. It's based on a tool already proven in timber frame house construction.

The IM350 CT is virtually click-and-go. Simply click in the tool's nail-strip, long-life NiCad rechargeable battery and small gas fuel cell ... and go, for improved speed and quality.

To complement Jewson's 25-year guarantee for timber decking, corrosion-resistant stainless steel nails are used with the IM 350 CT tool.
